Default sputtering in vtec

What would cause that? besides oil and tune ups. Thanx

Probably a dented oil pan... At high RPM the oil pump is sucking for oil... I have seen cases where the oil pan is dented enough to flutter the VTEC because of a lack in the pressure... Your low VTM signal will kill the VTEC along with not enough pressure to keep the rockers locked... I'm sure any of the other sensors that control VTEC activation could cause it to flutter but that's what I would think... It's not like the TPS, ECT, VSS, etc. are gonna go bad then get good making the VTEC turn on and off.. This is just what i'm thinkin tho.. Latez
