Does any one have experience with Spoon LSD.

Mine is making a clunking noise on turning. Is this normal.

That depends on the LSD type. If it's a clutch-type LSD, then expect it to make more noise than a helical geared LSD which doesn't make a lot of noise anyway. If it's a viscous unit then it shouldn't be extremely noisy either. Any of them will make some noise. But if it's a clutch-type then it will probably make a lot more noise.

 

Thanks for the info. Yes it is a clutch type.
Strangely after 2 weeks of driving on th road the oil turned brown.
Is this normal? What oil is recommended?
Should I use the Spoon LSD for street driving?
