Default sparkplugs cables on stock distributer help

okay before i had an red MSD sparkplugs cables on my stock gsr distributer and oil went inside the distributer. just want to know if the msd sparkplugs cause it?
also distributer been replace with new one and thinking about putting my msd cables back since it matches on my engine accesories.
pls help and lmk.
car is si 2000 with gsr swap btw.

The cables have nothing to do with an oil leak at the distributor. The seal on the distributor was most likely the cause if the leak. You can run any kind of cable on the distributor. So go ahead and throw those mad cables back on.
