spark plugs covered with oil

i changed my plugs today and found them drenched in oil. is this normal? the tip looks normal a brownish red color.

Was there oil sitting on top of them before you took them out?? If so the spark plug tube seals are shot. They are cheap and easy to replace.

the threads were covered in oil.

either the spark plug gasket. or you are getting oil blow by from the piston ring being bad.
