i got a 95 gsr and my spark plug wire keeps poppin up....i made a small hole in the rubber boot to let the pressure out but it still pops up after driving the car around....has any one had this problem b4....i need help..thanks

 

Make sure the spark plug in that cylinder is tight and that the spark plug gasket is in good condition - or better yet just replace the gasket and see what happens.

Are the wires Msd? I've heard that they sometimes pop off of the distributer although mine have never. My friend solved this problem by putting zip-ties around the boot.

 

its poppin frm the valve cover....and i changed the valve cover spark plug rubber seal...

 

It's popping off the sparkplug and that cylinder is misfiring right? There has to be some force popping it off and it is probably combustion gases. It is probably either leaking past the spark plug threads and into the spark plug tube, thus popping off the wire or it could be a defective plug where there is a crack or gap between the metal and the porcelain

 

try tightening the spark plug but be careful not to strip it
