Here's the deal....i found ross pistons at a killer price...81.5mm and it doesnt give the compression ratio of the ls head...so i went to C-SPEED.com and did the conversion....it shows up as 8.8:1 cr...that is too lower than i want... i figured with a single layer headgasket i would be where i want to be(9.2:1)...

now for the question. would a single layer gasket seal well enough with a forced induction setup?
and also... Where do i find a single layer gasket for a b18a1 with an 81.5mm bore

very unforgiving setup. both deck and head need to be surfaced if any warpage present. must ensure that its torqued properly as well

 

I donno, that's already unreliable for na so with boost even more.

do you think that maybe i should have the head milled and get a two layer? i just want to know how i can get the compression that i want with those pistons
