Default Shouldnt a distributer turn freely with the hand

When its off the car should it turn super easy or does it kinda feel like its clicking into place all the way around?

I feel clicks but it should also turn super easy.

You can feel the magnetic sensors (CYP, TDC, CKP) when you spin the shaft. They're kinda strong, but that doesn't feel the same as friction. Sorta like turning a permanent-magnet electric motor.

yeah, from what i remember from other distributers its harder to turn then those. Could this be the reason the motor is running at a low rpm?

It'll just make the distributor bearing overheat & something's gonna break or melt. Gotta find something else to blame for low RPM.
