Default Shock Through Hood.

dammit! on my way to work today, i heard a clunking noise coming from my front end. i thought something may have been loose & that i'd check it out when i got home. when i pulled into my spot @ work, i noticed a bump in my hood. i popped it & the shaft from my shock came through & was hitting the hood.
I installed my h&r & agx combo myself so, i know it was done correctly & that washer was put into place.
when i get home, i'm gonna rip it apart & check it out but, does anyone know why this would happen now? i've been rolling around on these for over a year now with no problems.

any ideas?

This happened to me, but I had forgotten the washer...if you put it back in, then I don't know why this would have happened. Check the nuts that hold the bushings at the top of the shock to make sure they are torqued down to spec...sometimes they work loose.
