Default Shifters, which trannies are compatible?

I'm curious, which trannies shifters are compatible? A friend of mine with an ITR broke his STR garbage shifter and was told an LS shift lever would work. any truth to this? what about other car, civics, etc?

Are you sure about that? I thought B-D sereise were interchangeable and F-H series were interchangeable too, but not between the two.

si shifter would work for the itr. if you look on dc sports webpage, you can see what shifters are compatable with what cars by looking at the part #'s for the different cars. integras and civics use the same dc shifter part #.

however, there are some shape diffs in the stock levers, but some people prefer certain bends in different cars. I'd say try it if you are getting the shifter for next to nothing.

B and D series shifters should all be interchangeable. F and H series can sometimes be cable shifted, and require funny brackets and stuff. stay away from preludes and accord parts. go civic and integra!
