Default SFC setting for CO test in 9hrs...urgent!!!

I have my emission test tommorow morning at 9am, i failed last time and fitted a field SFC to my car, i was just over by a tiny bit (0.32%vol...fail is above 0.3%vol CO), but dont want to take a chance on just the new plugs and 'guarantee'd to pass' **** getting me through so i want to lean of the fuel at the 2-3000rpm level to be sure to pass on the high idle test. If i set it too -20% at that level would that do any damage to the engine while theyre revving it for the test, they only rev it for approx 1-2 minutes or till the level drops to a steady point, is 20% to little fuel going in? i'll set it just before i bring the car along and set it back to stock afterwards. Please advise.......!!!!!

I wouldn't reduce it that much at 2-3k... Maybe something like %5-%10. You could lean out the idle even more, say %15+.

The car passed last time on the low idle test and failed on the high idle test (conducted at 2500-3000rpm) the car is stopped, its not on rollers, could it still do damage leaning it out while static revving it to approx 2750rpm for less than 2 minutes?

taking away fuel with a piggy back fuel controller will cause the ecu to advance ignition timing.
