Hi All

I have a 97 Odyssey
My rear driver side mid car passenger side seat belt froze up
I went to the dealer and they said if defective they would replace

If it's something like a folded up seat belt I had to pay the labor for them to take the panel off to check

So i thought I would check the seatbelt myself first to see if I could fix it

Is there a step by step guide on how to get that rear panel off
The entire side rear panel has to be taken off to get to the seat belt

Find another dealer, seat belts come with lifetime warranty and anything haveing to do with changing them, 94

 

This assumes you didn't deliberately cause the problem.

 

I didn't deliberately cause the problem but I suspect it started with the belt twisting
The tech said it doesn't feel like that kind of jam
So I might talk to another dealer maybe they will fix it no questions asked
