Default Rust on block sleeve. Piston seized. Need Help.

I've searched around the web and on HT and I'm not able to find the information I need. What I got is a B18b block. Picked it up from a guy for free. He left the block sitting outside in the rain/snow and cylinder 1 and 4 has rust all over it. With cylinder 1 and 4 having rust, the piston is completely seized up and won't move. I've tried putting some oil in the cylinder and letting it sit there for a day or two, but it seems like its not wanting to seap through. I've read about using 1/2 and 1/2 of oil and gasoline and setting it on fire, but I'm afraid it may expand the cylinders to much and making the block scrap. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

if the rust is as bad as you say it is, the block may already be scrap, short of resleeving it.

I've used PB blaster and a breaker bar on the crank pulley nut to slowly work them loose.

If its rusted that bad the block probably isn't going to clean up with a simple hone though. To be perfect you'll be into a new set of pistons and a bore, at that point I usually find it cheaper to pick up another block for $20 that will clean up with just a hone.

If you don't mind a little pitting showing after the hone, break it loose, hone it, and run it.

engine oil at ambient temp is too thick to get in there. you could try 200° oil... or a mix of ATF and acetone. ATF/acetone mix outperformed commercially available penetrating oils in a test done by a machinist magazine. or so the story goes. I've tried it and it does work very well. pour some in, let is soak over night then try working it loose like stenseltizm suggested.

Get yourself some marvels mystery oil that will do the trick. You can pick that bad boy up at any autoparts store. Pour it in and let it sit that should seep through and break it loose.

You can try heating up a rod, red hot and inserting it into the cylinders to expand the cylinder and then try turning it over. I have done this to press sleeves in.

you can try using a product called FREEZE-OFF it works wonders the can find it at autozone for under $10 we also recommend after unfreezing the block you should have it honed to clean up the cylinder walls!!

Hope this helps
