Just boosted my civic yesterday n drove it with no problems for couple hours last night, went to start it this morning n it fired ran funny for a second n cut off then would turn but not crank after that. Its getting fuel but no fire at the plug wire. Had to go to work so couldn't check anything else any suggestions on what to check when I get off? Or what couldve caused the sudden change so I can't prevent it from happening again?

bump gonna check out dizzy, but i already checked fuses n thats not a problem. i heard something about a relay under passenger side of dash on eg that controls ignition?

 

pulled up a code 0 wich is faulty pcm, so i swapped the ecu with my other car n it started right up. so now i need a chipped obd1 vtec ecuif anyon is selling one. i pulled mine apart and cant find anyting that looks burnt up so any info on what ican try to fix mine would be great

hmm, check to make sure that the eprom chip is seated fully. it's possible it came loose. but even then, the car would run but it would be in a limp mode. usually if the ecu goes bad it will have a bad capacitor i can't remember which one tho. it's been a while since i've socketed an ecu. but it's a big one on the left.
