rocker arm adjustment screws????????????

rocker arm adjustment screws????????????
Ok I am try to get rid of my ticking and I see there is a screw with 10mm lock nut around them on the end of the rockers. Were on the the lobes of the cam should I have the rockers camshaft contact face be before i check for adjustment. Should the contact face be on the highest part of the lobe, lowest part of the lobe, or the flat part right after or before the highest part of the lobe. I have done this adjustment before but have forgotten what part of the lobe the contact face should be resting on before adjusting the screw I would like to say the flat part before the highest part of the lobe but would just like another opinion or 2 before I go ahead.
