Reusable internals?
I am asking this because I tore my block apart to send it off th get sleeved. I maybe have 1000 miles on my build. Acl race bearings, wiseco pistons and rings, cometic head gasket. I've heard people say replace, and I've heard people say everything is reuseable but the head gasket. What do you guys think? Any bad experiences on reusing these? Thanks
the universal rule is always replace the head gasket when you separate the head and block. but i say inspect it and if its good than go for it and if it leaks than i will apologize for giving you bad advice.
If you've only put 1000 miles on the motor, I would just reuse the stuff you have. I wouldn't recommend buying random used parts on the internet though.
If the block is getting sleeved, the cylinders will obviously be freshly honed. Get a new set of rings and a head gasket. Check the crank clearances and inspect your rod & main bearing surfaces while you've got everything apart.

The only thing I would add is that you should replace the rings. The new sleeves may be just a few .0001" different in diameter than your old cylinder and this would mean that the rings may not conform exactly to the new cylinders. Its up to you but personally I wouldn't risk it considering rings are not super expensive.
