Rebuilding k20a3... I have a question.
I spun 2 bearings on my crank on my a3, and I decided to build it, since I took another a3 and put it in. My question is would I be better off buying another crank, or putting new bearings on the crank and getting it micro-polished. This is really going to be my first time working the "inside" of a motor, and I am going to take it step by step no matter how long it is going to take me. I'm not going to lie, I am a little nervous. So back to my main question, replace the crank or fix it? Thanks in advance.
Have a machine shop take a look at it and let them decide. Usually if you spin a bearing the crank will most likely need to be replaced.
