quick tune-up question...

Default quick tune-up question...

hey guys...i am about to do a tune-up on my TEG, but i am running into problems...

all i want to replace is the PLUGS, WIRES, and Cap&Rotor...

but here is the problem, i have a GSR head on a B16A2 block...now...when i go to the shop, do i get the parts for a GSR or for a Civic SI???

the part numbers are different on all of these between the two cars...please help me out...thanks

Wires: GS-R
Plugs: ? GS-R? What plugs does the Civic call for?
Cap&Rotor: For whichever distributor you have (GS-R?)

i'm pretty sure you can use any of the two. b series parts are interchangeable.

if they are interchangeable then why are there different part numbers...

also, the usually retarded guys at autozone said to go with whatever the head is for sure which would be GSR stuff...

any more input???

Use the B18C1 cap and rotor if you have a GS-R distributor.

B-series VTEC plug wires are all the same.

Use NGK PFR6G-13 plugs.
