Quick Release Steering Wheel Help - NRG Install
Ok, I have a small dilemma. I have the NRG quick release and was looking at all the parts before I start the install. So far everything looks ok except for the ground plate ring for my Momo steering wheel. If you look at this plate, you will see there is a part that has a small bump, thus causing the plate not to sit flush on the quick release unit:

If you notice the little arrows I made pointing to the little hump, that prevents the steering wheel from sitting perfectly flush onto the quick release.
If you look at the next pics, that is what I apparently need to resolve my problem:

So anyways, do you guys know where I can source just the ground ring plate without having to buy a whole $60 hub just to get the ground plate? Or do you guys have any suggestions that I can try? I know I can't just ditch the ground plate because isn't that what gives my horn the contacts it needs to work and also doesn't it hold the horn in place on the steering wheel? The NRG kit did come with two ground plates but they were not the type that will hold the horn in place, plus looking at this post:

It looks like he used the NRG (or generic) ground plates WITH the steering plate.
I have a Tenzo wheel I bought for my daily so I could take the Momo out and use it on the autocross car, so I'll take it apart to see if it has the right kind of ground plate and if they can even be swapped. The hole in the middle of the Tenzo looks bigger than the Momo.
Sorry this is so long, but any suggestions will help....thanks!!!
P.S. - I borrowed pics from various sites to use as examples...

HA! Nevermind, a quick call to NRG gave me my answer. I tried to call several times and finally I got through. Well...it turns out that on the NRG quick release, there is what looks like a ring with a cut in it that is inserted into the quick release side facing the steering wheel. Apparently (Jose pay attention because you didn't know what it was for) this piece eliminates the need for the Momo ground plate ring. This NRG piece is what holds the horn in place and along with this, you are supposed to use one of the 2 thinner plates that came with the NRG QR for the horn contacts. Now since I don't need the momo ground plate ring, the steering wheel sandwiches the thinner NRG ground plate and sits flush onto the NRG quick release. Make sense?

I know I probably found this out before you guys that knew this could have helped me, but thanks anyways. But if you guys have anymore suggestions, please feel free to add on. Thanks again!
