Default Quick ? Quick answer. New England Daylight burning! Axle removal

I am taking the front brake assembly (pass side) off my GSR. I have everything out except the two bolts on top next to the strut towers. How do I get the axle out without damaging anything?

I usually take off the Shock Fork, zap off the axles nut
and bust free the lower ball joint,

then *PRY* the inboard CV out of the tranny
then
lift the whole upper part of the suspenion off the lower control arm,
and pull it off the axle.

the lower ball joint is connected to the LCA? Will fluid shoot out of the cv boot?

No.. no grease is gonna come out unless the boots are busted

1.) Remove Cotter pin from lower ball joint castle nut
2.) Loosen nut (BUT DO NOT REMOVE)
3.) Find the BIGGEST HEAVIEST hammer you have
4.) Find the nipple on the edge of the lower control arm (or do a search for the 1/2" ratchet trick)
hit that nub as HARD as you can I big huge monster hit
5.) once the ball joint comes free, then remove the castle nut
6.) Pry out the axle from the tranny
7.) remove the lower shock fork,
8.) lift the upper part of the suspension off the lower control arm,
9) pull the upper part of the suspension off the axle (or push the axle in from the hub)

do some searches on how to remove axles or seperate lower control arm
