Default Quick oil pump question

I just built my B18c1 and used oem everything. Its all together and ready to crank up. And this morning i came across a thread of rtv sealant being caught in oil passages causing engine failure. It started to make me second guess something, so i had to ask opinions. I used a new oem oil pump and gasket. I used honda bond and liberatelly applied it to the mating surfaces and alittle around the neck where the o ring is. I even put a little around the oil ring. I didnt globb anything on the pump. In your opinion, would i be ok?

Well normally it only take around 1 hour for it to become fully rubber like. RTV, Room Temperature Vulcanized. If you have waited enough, then it shouldnt be any problem. I redid my differential with RTV and a new gasket and i seriously vulcanized that puppy lol

i bought them here http://hondapartsnow.com

They have great service, and they also have cheap parts.

And a cool feature that lets you save your car so next time you visit the site your vehicle info is already there.

hope this helps
