What is a sign of a bad clutch, when it grabs low or grabs high on the pedal? Thanks

 

that could be a sign of a master cylinder going bad......do you ever have to build up pressure in the clutch to shift? does the clutch slip at high rpms?

 

What could be a sign? I was just wondering if it's bad when it grabs low or grabs high. It never slips and I dont' have to "build up pressure in the clutch" to shift.

 

you can tell if the clutch is slipping by putting it in a higher gear and just flooring it. if the rpm's goes up and you're still moving at the same speed then its slipping. if not then your clutch is still good.

 

I know mine's still good, but as it wears, does it grab low or high? Like if I just got a new clutch, would it grab high or low on the pedal?

 

It usually grabs high.
