I am in need of hood pins because I cut away from my rad. support to fit my intercooler. The stock latch doesn't feel as solid now, so I would just like to reassure myself with hood pins. Tell me what you are using and where you got them from. Thanks.

 

The best hood pins I've come across were the ones I used with my CF hood. They were a generic ricer brand (although I can't recall the name of the company), and they were excellent. My friend spent more on a set of Sparco's, and part of them began rusting and weathering soon after he installed them, while my "no-names" continued to look almost like new. I suppose that doesn't help you in selecting a brand, but my point was basically that there's no need to spend more on expensive pins that are really no better than the cheaper ones.
