Question about a stainless steal header

I just bought a used stainless steal header, I had two questions. If I polish it back up, how long will it stay looking polished. And does header wrap cause rust ?

dunno about the first one. depends on the polish i suppose and second one is its stainless steel, it doesn't rust, ever.
