Default question about ctr pistons?

well my friends getting his engine rebuilt, new gasket, skunk2 stage 2 cams, and titanium valves and retainers, he wanted too get the ctr pistons but the guy said too not get them cause there bad (he said too much compression) is this true? and what are some other all motor options? since the block is opened. by the way its a 98 gsr

well, CTRs are fairly high compression, and for a street car, you are going to wanna watch that..

on a GSR, you would be looking at just over 12:1 CR

perhaps you'd want to look into JDM ITR pistons...
