I recently had my catalytic converter for my 2001 civic lx replaced so that I could pass the smog check. I paid about $600 to do so. However, my boy told me that he had hookups and should have been able to get me a new cat converter for around $160. I live in CA, I've searched for replacement cats online but couldn't find a site that would be able to ship it to California. I was wondering if he is telling the truth or full of $#!&. If he is telling the truth, FML.
