Default Quality Engine Hoist?

So I searched for engine hoist, engine lift..then engine..then civic, then honda. No results every time. I'm thinking either my browser/addons don't agree with the search function or it is somehow broken altogether (doubtful). Hopefully this hasn't been covered. I'm looking into securing an engine hoist, I was wondering what you guys thought a noob like me should get if anything. I have been browsing online, I've seen many kinds ranging from $80ish to $1100+. Seems like the majority are in the $400 range. I am looking for strictly function for value. If an 80 dollar engine hoist can lift up my D16 and keep it there while I work on it safely, then thats exactly what I want. Please, any thoughts or advice?

I have a Harbor Freight hoist and have probably done 30-40 motor pull/installs with it. Never has failed. IIRC it was around $150

X2 But I bought mine from them back in 2003 for $199 from Northern Tools. Get the engine balancer too.

Here's mine from a few years back.

And last May,

$200 will get you one that will do the job, an engine level is a must, package deal maybe, but about $20 for one that will do the job.

Spend another $150 on an engine stand, an engine hoist is not the tool you need to work on the engine, "safely" or otherwise. 94

I think the engine stands are more like $50.00. Harbor Fright.
