Default Pulling vaccum from intake tube?

i was curious to know if i could drill and tap a hole for a vaccum source for my wastegate in the intake tube its self. I think it would work but i need a little advice here.

Yes, but a wastegate doesnt work with vacuum, it works with pressure.

theres no vacuum in the intake before the throttle body.

also vacuum is pressure.

Yes, but everything is relative to the 14.7 psi, so that makes vacuum negative pressure.

haha yes im aware of the difference between vaccum and postive pressure. BUT can i use the intake tube for the wastegate?

i don't see why not, alot of turbo's have nipples on them for just that.

what is your point? wastegates don't run off vaccum, they run off boost.

YES YOU CAN USE A SOURCE OFF YOUR CHARGEPIPE.
