Pros and Cons of UnderDrive Crank Pulleys
I am curious as to the pros and cons of using UnderDrive Crankshaft pulleys such as Unorthodox Racing's Ultra S or Tuner S on B Series motors ??
I keep getting mixed opinions about the Harmonic Damper, etc., etc.
Can someone explain to me what is the big deal and how exactly this poses a major problem. What are the possible consequences ?
Thanks.

Nope.
What the harmonic balancer does is absorb vibrations from the crankshaft.
Now i believe with the aftermarket crank pulleys, its just a solid weight?
Pretty much without it it will put an extra strain on your crankshaft/oil pump gear etc etc.

there are mixed reviews about this.i am going to use a ati fluid damper...to take out harmonic vibrations...but i have herd some people making some very high hp..and using what you usuing and not having problems.
but best of luck to you which ever way you may go.
