Default Problems with sec clutches

Ok here is the problem. i bought a spec clutch back about 1 year ago and it was a b18c civic. It was fine, worked very well for a while, then on the way to school, my car wouldn't go into or out of gear. I had to drive it home by starting it and making it roll in one gear. i thought it was the hydrolic fluid, but after bleeding it, the problem didn't go away, so i pulled the motor and sold the car with a d15. I took the tranny off and one of the springs on the disc had fallin out. Only after about 5K miles too. But the pressure plate looked ok, so i bought a act disc and reused the pressure plate. Now its doing the same exact thing. What are the chances of both the pressure plate and the disc messing up the first time?? I don't understand why this damn clutch is giving me so many problems. Anyone else have any problems with there spec clutches? I couldn't believe that the pressure plate would be messed up too. Is there a problem with it engaging with the act disc? Or are the fingers on the pressure plate damaged, so now the throw-out bearing isn't able to push em in to disengage the disc? Any advice would be great before I go spend any more $$. Thanx.

Well, you were cheap and instead of replacing the entire clutch unit, you only replaced a piece. Get a new, QUALITY clutch set and a new flywheel. You'll be fine.
