I recently came across this problem from my car while driving on the freeway around 3000 to 4000 rpm it would sputter and than feel like its surging. When I press on the gas it drives fine, its just when it try to keep the car around 3000 to 4000 rpm is when I get the sputter problems.
It will do this till the check engine light comes on but when it comes on the car will drive fine except that the rpms will be high around 1500 rpms (when you stop). This problem is happening all the time now. I have no idea why its doing this. I have a Itr engine swap into my 94 rs integra, and also running a jdm ecu.

If anybody knows on what this problem is please let me know thanks a lot.
