Primary O2 sensor (Heater)
The oygen sensor is not working when the engine is cold once its warmed up it works fine. A local shop told me that there's a problem with the wiring harness on the back of the intake manifold causing a blown fuse and four codes. Primary O2, Secondary O2, Speedo Sensor, And Oxygen Sensor control. I could not find this wire broken but did find the blown fuse. I did have all of these problems but now only have the one for the primary O2 when cold.
What color wire is the heated sensor circuit and what pinout of the ecu does it go to on an OBD II 97 Civic?

The problem they found is a honda service bulletin - which is a fix from honda - I have this bulletin at work - on the back of the intake underneath the intake there is a ground junction connector that shorts out and the repair is rerounting the wire and appling foam tape to prevent the wire from rubbing on the bracket.

I cannot find the open wire. I heard that is the blue connector harness. I removed the intake manifold bracket and the plastic holding the harness to the block and removed the wires but see nothing. I cannot see where its rubbing against the manifold.
Underneath the intake there are two junction connectors. However, I have the bulletin attached - this bulletin should be an aid to you. but, if don't find anything wrong start looking for other short on that circuit.
i don't how to add an attachment to this post - if you show me how - i will post the complete bulletin for you..
