Is this a possible slave cylinder problem???
need some advice.. While putting my motor back together with my new clutch, I took the slave cylinder off and somehow the inside boot in the slave tore open exposing the spring inside along with a pointy top peice. That spring popped out but I was able to locate it with the other peice and put them back in snuggly with the clutch fork that connected to it.
Now, when bleeding the clutch it feels somewhat soft, not what I'm used to at all. The clutch does pop out though. When bleeding and holding the clutch in and releasing it, the clutch does not pop back out though however. Is this a sign that I need a new slave cylinder? Btw, my cmc is fine no leaks and no leaks in the firewall inside the car either. I've bled the clutch a 3rd time now and its still not hard at all, just snug enough to where i can step on it to start the car and it'll pop back out.
