Icon5 PLEASE HELP!!! 90 integra w. b20b4 p75-3 head wiring problem

hi everyone i recently bought a 90 integ with a b20b4 swap and a p75-3 head stock as far as i know with a 1.8 5spd. fist off guy said drive it away i did and when i got home i left it running went inside and came out and the car was over heating. to cut to the chase i figured out my fan was not turning on and i replaced temp sensor and went to replace the thermo switch and found the clip was broken and no wires with a clip to attach to it was to be found. i really need help people i am not new to honda but this is my first DOHC car. ive searched around forums and threads. maybe i have not looked hard enough or im missing something. but this is to be my wifes daily as my lowered EF SOHC is not feasible for winter and well thats supposed to be my project car not her daily. i did not know what i was diving into untill the can of worms hit me in the face like a blunt object traveling at high speed lmao. i have taken some pictures that i will include.i guess my questions are is there supposed to be an existing plug off the harness to plug into that? and if not how do i wire one in so i dont have to replace the motor from my wife forgetting to hit a toggle every time she gets into the car. i would like her to be ale to just turn it on and drive away. i am stressing out because my auto trans on my ef si hatch is going hence the reason i bought the integ.
please help people i know i am going to get some flack for starting a new thread on something that was probably covered a few times i just dont have to much more time to search and need answers as soon as possible and figured this would be the best way to get your guys attention. if i have not included enough information please let me know i will do my best to bring you up to speed so i can get this resolved asap

On the original '90 Teg engine harness, you will find the fan switch wires under the intake manifold near the alternator. In it's factory configuration, the plug would have a large rubber weather-proof cover and two female barrel connectors that plug into a large sensor with two male barbs sticking out. The wire colors are solid black and yellow with a green trace. To fix your fan circuit, replace the fan switch that you have photographed in the thermostat housing, get a two pin grey plug from a junkyard with 14-18" of extra wiring, and connect the two wires to the original black and yel/grn wires. Plug the grey plug in to the fan switch and you are done.

Incidentally, if you want to make sure the circuit works, simply strip back the black and yellow/green wires exposing some bare copper wire on each and with the key in the IGN2 (On) position, tough the two bare wires together and the fan should come on. If the fan comes on, follow the above directions and your wife will be good to go.

Ditto the above gray 2pin plug with a black lead and a yellow/green lead running to it, the ECT switch supplies a ground to the rad fan relay when engine temp reaches just under 200 deg.. F

Fuse #21-15A in under dash fuse box is for rad fan relays coil , relay supplies a ground to rad fan, fuse #24-15A in under dash fuse box is the fuse for the rad fan itself, [hot at all times].
White lead changing to a blue/black lead at the rad fan is the power lead, confirm it has 12V+ on it at all times, the blue lead is the ground for rad fan from the rad fan relay. 94

OBD0 DA INTEGRA FAN SWITCH PLUG
OBD1/2 B Series Fan Switch Plug
You Need to extend the 2 wires from the fan switch plug up to the sensor on your thermostat. You want to use a plug like above, although in a pinch you could solder the wires straight to the sensor.

ok so i went back ionto the engine bay today and discovered he has the yellow/green & the black wire extended to a grommet that lays behind the crank? i think. its a blue and white set of wires that comes out of the small grommet. but he has the two wires from the fan switch connected to those blue and white wires. what are those blue and white wires?

are they needed? can i just cap them and continue to route the wires he has going to them to the fan switch cause i traced them back to the harness and they go to the yellow/green and the black that i read i need for the fan switch !!!

If you are using an OBD-0 or OBD-1 ECU, there would be absolutely NO reason for the sensor (crankshaft fluctuation) you have pictured to be used. If the previous owner wired this up in the car, it was a mistake. Cut the two brown wires where they connect to the blue and white wires, tape them off if you wish, and then connect the two brown wires to the plug that you will use at the fan switch on the thermostat housing. It makes no difference which wire connects to which... there is no polarity on this circuit, so it works fine regardless of wire position. Just make sure that these two wires come (originate) from the engine harness under the intake manifold between the oil filter and the alternator... there are other locations where the same color wires will be used (ICM at the distributor may be yel/grn and black grounds are plentiful), so just make sure.

thank you for replying. yes they come from the harness right next to the oil sensor under the manifold i just wanted to verify that the wires coming from the (crankshaft fluctuation sensor) could be capped and i could continue on my mary way lol thank you so much for your fast reply my wife may driving to work tomorrow in the integ!!! kind of excited

an update so i did what was told and the fan now work no more overheating. then i threw a code 43 and i changed out the 02 sensor no more code 43 anymore took it for a rip and now im throwing code 17 which from what i read is a vss (vehicle speed sensor). how hard are those to do and is there a difference between the manual and automatic versions. if so what the part number for the manual version. hoping this gets my speedo working as it hasnt worked since i bought the car. i guess on another side note my gas gauge is not functioning but my tachometer works and so does my temp gauge. i was told its the bobber in the tank so i dumped some sea foam in there to see if that would free it up. but it has not. what is the likely hood of it being the bobber? or is it something else that could be the issue?

trying to avoid dropping the tank lol
