Default please confirm!

ok so i am building my ls/vtec and i want to verify what oil pump i am ordering. i have researched but i just want to be 110% sure i am ordering the right thing.
Block: 1991 b18a
Head: gsr (p72)
the way i understand it is that i am best off ordering a 96+ vtec oil pump. and that i am better off sticking with obd1 pump because of the timing over. is this correct?

+96 non vtec pumps are the same as pre 96 vtec pumps (maybe post 96 to, not sure)...get a b20 oil pump and you can use your cover I believe. Vtec oil pump you can't use your cover without modification

post 96 non vtec oil pumps have the same part number as some vtec pumps...

your going to have a hard time getting a cover on there...but you could make it work.kinda.

part# 15100-P72-A01 is the pump that covers ALL vtec and non vtec b series 96+ acording to honda. there is no other option. unless you go pre-96.
