When I was dropping my tranny today, I accidently pinched my balljoint boot and put a hole in it. The hole is super small, it's actually more of a tear, but it's so small that when you squeeze the boot a single drop of grease oozes out.

Can I fix this with some sort of silicone? I don't want to bother replacing the boot. i just don't know if silicone will stick to the rubber boot.

 

thats what honda does when they have to grease those things they usea needle grease gun then put silicone over the hole, if thats the way the tech do it then it should work.
