i have a buddy with a 92 eg hatch with a usdm d16z6 with usdm p28 stock obd1.


AND


i have another buddy with a 95 eg hatch with a jdm d15b vtec ,with a usdm p28 and stock obd1.


now the eg with the d16z6 swap, his vtec kicks in at 4800rpm's while my buddy with the jdm d15b vtec kicks in at 5600rpms

both guys have the same set-ups but difforent motors, So my question is would a automatic p28 make vtec kick in at 5600? and the manual p28 kicks in at 4800?


just alittle confused

Is the P28 running the D15B chipped? It could have a junk Mugen clone program in it, or the P08 program could be in it. D15B VTEC is at 5500 rpm.
