i have a d16y8 in my civic and i just recently built a different head with crower cam, springs, and retainers and i put in si industries oversized valves port and polish with a 3 angle valve job this head is also a y8 and i was wondering if i could put it on a stock bottom end without having to worry about piston/valve clearance.

 

that would fit fine.. unless you shaved the head

 

i thought so i was just making sure cause the cutout on the piston made me wonder.
