overheating and coolant level rises?!?
i just recently noticed that my car would over heat about 3/4 temp gauge and then will go back down to normal while driving it. so i then popped hood to check if fans are working and they all are, then i noticed the level on the coolant resvoir bottle raised alot. whats could this be? headgasket or a shitty theromostat or something else?
When was the last time the thermostat was replaced?
When was the last time the coolant was changed? Air pockets can cause the temp sensors to go out of control like that.

thermostat has prolly 1000 miles on it. and im getting very shitty oil pressure too seems like. this was a recently new build. im thinking blown headgasket but can a blown headgasket cause this?
What are your pressures, spec for 5w30 oil is 10psi at idle, and 50psi at 3000rpm.
Perform a compression test to determine if all your cylinder are performing equally, if they are, I wouldn't readily suggest a headgasket failure.

after racing 2 days ago, my car would overheat even faster now, and this time it actually goes all the way up to the H, blown headgasket? shitty thermostat, this is a new build and has abuot 3000 miles on it, but i do race alot and auto x'd my car 1 time, it would go up and ten go back down to normal, and the rise again, and the coolant would still back up in the resvoir bottle
Get a coolant pressure tester ... Test it.
make sure you radiator is getting cool air..
make sure nothing is blowin on the radiator.. EX. Exhaust or wastegate dump.
do you burn any white smoke.?
Are you radiator houses Inflated?
Check all of this.... And just replace you thermostat. there like 15 bucks.
Wire the fan ON all the time.

my friend is a mechanic and i just got off phone with him and hes 96% sure its the headgasket because im leakin compression through the headgasket which causes the coolant to back up and fill up the resvoir bottle, sound good?
never really heard of that being a problem, but if that was the case you would also be leaking coolant into the cylinders, plus your compression would be crap. just do some testing.
what kind of headgasket is it?
what kind of thermo is it?

well it could be a blown head gasket, i had the same problem, but it was my radiator cap, it was going out so it caused my coolant to boil and spew out.
one people don't know is the radiator cap can cause the engine to overheat because depending on the type of cap and pressure(open valve pressure), it will change the coolants boiling point

i kept my radiator off and started the car. After about 15 mins (the car was warm running temp.) i noticed steam(white smoke) started to gush out the radiator. I rev it and coolant gushes out majorly! im assuming the compression leaking through headgasket is causing air and the coolant to back up.

First off. Your cooling system is designed to work under pressure. ie, with the cap on, if the cap is off it will boil out for sure.
Secondly, if you rev your motor with the rad cap off its normal for coolant to "gush" out because the water pump spins faster.
if with the rad cap tight your system is pushing coolant its usually either because of a poor rad cap or a blown headgasket. Do a leakdown test. If you dont have the tools, try a good rad cap and if the problem is still there change the headgasket.
