Default OPTIMUM compression/octane question

What is (if there is) the optimum, or best, compression ratio for 91 octane.

I searched, and I found, "what's good for my b16, gsr, yadda yadda". Just wondering if there was a "perfect" match for 91. thanks yO.

Well, to reply to my own post. I live in California, and naturally, if I were to build a motor, I'd want to make sure I'd be able to provide fuel for it on a regular basis (daily driver). I would want to build a motor that would use every benefit from the fuel it's fed. Lets assume I do not have regular access to any fuel type other than 91 octane gas.

I'm sure this is a stupid question to most, but is there an ideal compression?

Thanks.

I'm not sure about the ideal compression, but if it's for daily driving and you don't go buck-wild I've seen people upto 13:1 compression driving on 91 octane. Of course, they DO NOT push their car at all.

maybe around 11:1. would be 'ideal'?
