Ok I have a 1997 civic ex and I want to hook up my oil pressure guage, but where in the heck is the stock sensor???????? Is it the one right under the intake manifold above the oil filter?

alright, now that i know it is that sensor whats the best way to get to it????? i can't get my hand in a spot to get the wire harness off of it let alone taking it out.

 

ust get a deep well socket and have fun taking it out its not that crazy.

 

dude theres all the major wiring in my way.....i can't even get my hand around the sensor enough to pull off the harness.....but the best way is to do it from underneath the car??? damn this sucks! my 350 on my impala was so much easier

 

it is a bitch on the d16y8, unplug the sensor, and get a BMF socket, or a BMF wrench

 

I installed oil pressure sender when i pulled my motor...


honestly..
it's easier to just install an oil cooler and remote oil filter and put the temp and press sender in that system..
