Default Is an Oil Cooler needed for high compression LS/VTEC engine ??

I have an LS/VTEC engine using ALL Type-R components except of course for the block which is a B18B. I have ~11.8 CR and lots of moderate upgrades including I/H/E, etc.

Would you guys recommend getting an external oil cooler since the Type-R comes with an oil cooler ??

Or is it okay to use such a high CR with the B18B keeping in mind it also does not have the oil skirters like the B18C engines ???

Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
