Default oem parts... balancing?

b18c1 block, ITR p73-00 pistons

some shops have said to me with honda internal parts, there is no need to re-balance the crank, but i believe balancing is needed to be done.

anyone?

honda cranks are generally well balanced items i usually never touch them from factory but the piston and rod weights should always be double checked on a precision scale...

The JDM ITR .25OS pistons I bought were pretty well matched. Two were 319g and the other two were 320g.

The CTR pistons were a different story. I've measured a couple of sets and they were anywhere at or between 330 to 335 grams.
