I want to upgrade my tranny to cable LSD tranny and i noticed a Quaiffe cost approx $835 and then you have to put it in or an oem Y1 or YS1 cost btwn $600-$1000 so its seems to me that you should just buy a OEM tranny. Is there a diff. between the LSD's? What the adv & disadv between the two.

 

what about peloquin? I have a peloquin LSD on my vw and it came with a lifetime warranty, completely transferrable.

nm, I don't think peloquin makes lsd for honda vehicles. go quaife.

Are quaiffe more durable? or is the OEM not a tue LSD?

 

for a n/a app the oem will do you fine for for f/i go with a Quaiffe.

 

Oh I forgot! Quaife's have a lifetime warranty...EVEN WHEN RACED

 

So how hard are thet to install? any special tools needed?

 

install is simple if ya know trannys

 

I never been inside a tranny before but i consider myself fairly mechanical Is there any write ups on a quaifee y1 LSD install?
