Default obd2 or not

i have a b16 block and i am wondering how do u tell if its obd0,obd1,or obd2 and if obd1 can u convert it to obd2 cause i need obd2 engine to pass emissions

Look for a CKF sensor at the crankshaft pulley. Only OBD-2 engines have this.

Check the first digit of the engine block serial #. That'll tell you the year, based on when the engine type was first available. B16{a, b, c?} what exact engine type?
