Can someone confirm if the distributor plugs on all obd2 hanesses are the same? In short, can you hook up an obd2 B'series distributor to an obd2 D'series harness and make it work?
I'm not doing this but I just need to know if the pins and the wiring are the same. Thank you.

 

The plugs are not the same between all the OBD2 chassis'. The colors are also not the same either.

how about the obd2 D'series? Would you know if an obd2 D'series harness will fit and operate an obd2 B'series distributor? I need to know that exact combo.

The reason I ask is because I am wanting to make an obd2 to obd1 distributor conversion harness. I found a good price for a obd2 y8 distributor plug (harness side) but im not sure if the wiring and the plugs are the same. Please help!!

I know this isnt the wtb thread but.. if you have an obd2 b'series distributor plug (harness side) that you dont need, please PM me!

the only difference is between the obd2 in 99-2000 which are OBD2B i think(different plug), they are a different. the Si one is still the same as the OBD2A

THE D and b series will fit as long as its not the obd2b found in like the 99 DX and stuff
