Default obd1 distributor difference B-Series?

Is there any major differences in the B-series Distributors. VTEC vs. Non VTEC? Going to do my obd0 to obd1 change over on my B16A and a bit puzzled. Can i use a B18 LS distr. or do i have to get the B16a3 distr. ????

you can use it but like everyone does.... your gonna have to cut off a leg off the dizzy..... and them it will fit and work..... but if your trying to make a clean obd1 conversion just get an si single cam or ex or gsr dizzy.... those work....

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm actually doing this exact same thing with my B16A, you're saying that the single cam vtec dizzys work as well?

Did it happen to leak oil from the dis. seal? I was told that they leak oil like an sob because of the different size.

You can use a LS obd 1 Distrubtor but you have to cut off the leg that hits the vtec solinoid .

It will not leak.... Just doesnt look pretty.

For what it is worth, the OBD1 and OBD2 electronics are the same so you can use an OBD2 with the OBD1 ecu.
