i was changing the gasket between the two pieces of my header and all four o2 sensor wires all came out of their connector. (seen here inserted, thought not correctly)

the problem is, ive got four loose wires, and four holes to plug em into, but i dont know which wire plugs into which hole. the helms says nothing.


theres two black wires, one white, and one green. im guessing there was some sort of grey harness originally holding these wires together, but i guess the old owner of my car took it off. can anyone tell me how these wires are supposed to be attached?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...

Plug the plug up together. Look at the colors of the wires of the "good" side of the harness. Match the colors together as follows:

1 Green goes to D13 (green/ black) for sensor ground
2 White goes to D14 (white/ red) for sensor signal
3 Black/white goes to A5 (black/white) for heater signal
4 Black/yellow needs to tap into A11 (yellow/ black) for 12v

Forget the Dxx and Axx designations for the ECU. I don't know if they are necessarily correct.

 

in the 2nd pic the gray connector is right there, just making sure you know that. If you look on the other side of the connector there will be four wires, I'm pretty sure they'll match right up, white to white, green to green etc. You just need to pull back the insulation. I know it's kind of high up there and I can't remember the order otherwise I could just tell you the two black on the top 2 holes blah blah blah. I know the 2 black wires are next to each other if you consider where the tab that holds the connectors together as the top or bottom, the two black wires will be either top or bottom. Sorry I couldn't help more. Like I said you should just be able to match up the colors and be fine. If not the colors for the primary 02 sensor are:

02 sensor.................ECU
black........................black/white
black........................yellow/black
white........................white
green.......................green/black
