Default No crank speed fluctuation sensor on JDM B18C? What do i do?

Just got the block and i'm installing it now. Took off the crank pulley of the B18C and noticed that it doesn't have a sensor there like my B18C1? I know i'm going to throw a code. What do i do about this and what are the effects?

lets get all the facts first so we can help. Year make, model, ecu, harness etc.... what are they ? but if you want me to guess i would say that the motor will not even start. youll need to adapt a usdm crank sensor over.

Whups sorry about that. I don't know the year of the JDM block though. It has an OEM oil cooler on the back so I think it's a 94-94 B18C OBD1. It's going into a 96 USDM GSR, stock everything OBD2 everything.
I tried jerry rigging the crank speed fluctuation from my USDM gsr onto the OBD1 JDM block but it WILL NOT FIT

I think that the crank fluctuation sensor is an internal part of the distributor with OBD1.

I encountered the same problem puttin a obd1 LS block on my 98 EK. I heard it wont let u rev past a certain rpm w/o that sensor. So u got 2 choices. Add and oil pump w/the sensor or do what I did, Made a OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness and used and OBD1 ecu. Better route anyway since u can chip the obd1 ecu. Good luck.

if you still have the sensor from the old block.. all you gotta do is switch over the oil pump .. the sensor should be fine then.. if not.. .go to Honda/Acura and get an ITR oil pump.. its only like $95... and find a sensor elsewhere.. good luck .!
