I have seen many swaps with new HG have the issue you are talking about. After a period of time it vanished.

Did you have the head shaved the first time the headgasket was done?

I am very happy to report that my problem is actually the dizzy o ring, leaking down the side and then running forward to that corner of the hg.

:D

Glad to hear. It is common for people to freak out thinking that its a hg when 98% of the time it is just the dizzy o-ring, cam plug, or vtec solenoid gaskets.

mouab do you think I should go through with having the head studs retorqued or are they usually good for life of hg if they are torqued properly.. and the catch can, is it a necessity at 11.5:1 cr ive been told both you do and don't need it.

You don't have to retorque the studs. I retorqued mine after a year of driving and it stayed the same. None of them came loose.

Catch can for a b20 I highly recommend it. Its not for more whp, its so your motor does not suffocate. Its cheap insurance if you ask me. Theres actually a guy selling just the Endyn catch can on the H-T marketplace.
