I am about to buy a jdm zc tranny and i wanted to get some help on how to verify that its really a ZC tranny??? I know its cable durr but is there any stamps or number on there that i should check for???

I am just going to use the gearings off of the zc to put in my y8 tranny. Still works, right? I mean y8 and z6 are mostly the same right?

NOTE: I tried SEARCHING already didnt help

 

The only way i know is the zc uses an 3 piece axle. So if it accepts a regular long axle it's not zc.
